Privacy

Revenant Machine runs revenantmachine.com. This page explains what we measure when you visit and why.

What we measure

We count visits with our own analytics, hosted on our own servers at Cloudflare. We record which pages you view, how you arrived (for example the ad, site or search engine that linked here), your approximate country, your device type and browser, and actions such as playing the trailer, starting ICE Wars, how long you played, and clicking Wishlist or a store item. We do not record your name, email address, IP address or precise location in these analytics.

To tell new visitors from returning ones and to credit an ad for a later visit, your browser keeps a random ID and the last campaign that brought you, in local storage on your device. A campaign is only credited for 30 days after it brought you here. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we do not keep that ID.

Advertising

We advertise on platforms such as Meta (Facebook and Instagram), TikTok and Google. If we turn on their measurement tools, we will ask for your consent first, and they will only load after you accept. You can change your choice by clearing this site's data in your browser.

The game

ICE Wars stores its game files and your settings in your browser so it loads quickly next time. You can clear them at any time in your browser settings.

Purchases

When you buy something in our store, Stripe processes the payment under its own privacy policy; we never receive your full card details. We keep your email address, order number, what you bought and the campaign that brought you to the site, so we can send receipts, deliver and recover your items, handle refunds and measure our advertising. Your browser keeps a random player token so your Fuel and items stay with you.

Sharing

We don't sell your information. Our analytics are used only to understand which pages, ads and features work.
